Jem's Mid Autumn Festival

The brief from Jem was to create
a visual that would support their
Mid Autumn Festival campaign,
which includes the September
school holidays. It should appeal
to families and invite them to
visit Jem.

Jem went with another concept
in the end, but I felt that the visual exploration done here was really enriching and it made me relook
the way I viewed traditional mall campaign visuals.


The initial two options –

Option 1
Drawing inspiration from the tale of Chang-E and her rabbit.
Using a modern geometric approach that would entice shoppers
of various ages.


Option 2
Shows a family having fun in their own home,
using what they have around the house.

This is a work-in-progress that focus on family bonding,
a sentiment that Jem wanted to put across in this ad.


Developing further from Option 2, visual expanded
to include various other elements. Family figures have
also been tweaked.
