While studying abroad in Florence, Italy our Studio design was that had to incorporate the original “wild life” into the Urban Fabric of the land. Our site was located on the Arno for a chance to extend Florence onto the waterfront. After designing as teams we split up to further design our own individual apartment complexes. Being that is was meant to be an Artists Village, I designed my apartment with a Sculptor in mind. The stairs lend as a permanent sculpture piece while there is still open space for personal creations.
