This book is a personal project. Each spread tells about a different monster from the norse mythology.
The Kraken (on the cover) - An enormous octopus of Norse legend that consumed entire ships. At times it would float in the water with its head coming out of the surface of the ocean. Many sailors thought that it was an island until they disturbed the Kraken.
Níðhöggr (Nidhogg) - A dragon who gnaws at a root of the world tree, Yggdrasil, hoping to one day topple all 9 worlds.
Sköll and Hati - The sons of Fanrir, they chase the sun and moon, through the sky, trying to eat them.
Fenrir - Born from the Giantess Angrboda and the trickster god Loki. It was a wolf of enormous size and a fierce manner.
Jormungandr - The deadly serpent of Norse mythology that was one of the children of the trickster god Loki and the Giantess Angrboda. Jormungadr grew so large that he was able to surround the earth and grasp his own tail.
Fáfnir - The son of the dwarf king Hreidmar. After being affected by the curse of Andvari's ring and gold, Fafnir became a dragon (symbol of greed) to guard his treasure. Fáfnir also breathed poison into the land around him so no one would go near him and his treasure.
