This is one of my first work done with my Bamboo Wacom: is something more creative with no real applicative meaning.
I was inspired by old german XVI century xilographies, the one kind that was engraved for books printed after Gutenberg innovation.
The drawing depicts a Landsknecht Doppelsoeldner, a notorious german mercenary corp (described by the others also by Alessandro Manzoni in his "I promessi sposi").
Was a "study" on volumes made out of strokes and textures, a topic that vascinates me.
Nothing so glorious.
