For my Bachelor assignment I designed a Modular Hospitality Trailer for the company Talen (Meppel). They specialized in the redesign of trailers for various purposes, among which hospitality units used for racing teams on the paddock.

The main design brief was about ease of setup, speed of setup and feasibility of the technical design. As always some basic concepts were generated early on:

The final design features an extending Trailer which slides and unfolds in a basic modular unit. On top of that several different setups can be attached to add walls and windows, along with sleeping space or a kitchen. If required multiple trailers can be linked together. Special attention was paid to the location of necessary equipment and global technical information and feasibility. Sizes used are based on a luxurious approach while still maximizing efficiency during transport. Three main setups were designed for the purpose of illustrating the same basis with different appearances and uses.
