Sculptures dans la Ville
The city of Namur asked b71 Studio to realize an augmented reality application to accompany the exhibition of the famous artist Olivier Strebelle and his sculptures, who were exposed all around the city during the summer 2014.
A nice coverage of the event was made by Canal C,
you can watch it below (in french).
About the application
The support used for the recognition is a fold, distributed to the visitors.
A link to download the application and some explanations on how to use it are written on that fold.
Once you have started the app, you can discover the sculptures presents in the city and some others from the artist, like L'Enlèvement d'Europe, who's too big to be moved from her place.
On each Sculpture, a button allows the user to show some technical informations, in augmented reality, around the sculpture currently displayed.
Another button pops up a window where you can learn more about the sculpture, by some comments of the artist and real photos of the piece.
