We were contracted by a neurosurgeon to create medical illustrations and surgery photo compilations for a medical journal article. The illustrations included a lateral cross-section of the eye showing a small ligament called the "orbital septum" being released from the orbital bone, a maneuver unique to this surgeon's technique of the procedure.
