In Norse Mythology, Sif was the wife of Thor, the thunder god.  She had beautiful long locks, and was known throughout Valhalla to have magnificent strength.  One night, the trickster god Loki cut off all of her hair in a cruel jest and revenge.  With this series, I wished to convey a modern setting inspired by the mythological story.  A strand of hair is cut from her hair, which symbolizes her losing of personal endurance.
