La Llorona
''La Llorona'' is the name of a legend that runs told throughout various Latinamerican countries. The legend’s about an indigenous woman who supposedly married an spanish settler and with whom had three kids, but the man left her. In her pain she killed her children throwing them into a river and later threw herself, drowning. Now her restless soul wanders earth seeking her children at midnight near river banks, and some say she takes children confusing them with her own.
