I made the illustrations and the book for a 2014 exhibition.
They are made for La Fontaine’s Fables, that
were intended for an adult audience.
I am planning to make a pop-up version of it in the near future.
I made the patterns were created by selecting segments
of the drawings. In my illustrations I was trying
tho smooth the rigor of the tales by adding a hint of humor.

We can say that everywhere the fable is a tale of popular morality,
a lesson of intelligence, of justice, of wit brought
to us by our La Fontaine. Hopefully the surreal, satirical
ambiance of the La Fontaine fables was preserved.
