AGENA is a proposal for a private living space, designed for our own needs. The imaginary given space is a classroom of the Accademia Italiana with a partial extension of the room attached to it. It’s basically a ground floor with a balcony above it, which serves as a second floor. Part of the project was to create a connection with a stairs. This had to be done because in reality the stairs is to be found outside of the room.
AGENA means “own” and comes from the Romansh, a Rhaeto-Romance language.
