TheHills.org is a responsive website design for a growing, multi-campus church. The concept of the new design helps the communications team manage the church's overall messaging as well as giving visitors a clear path of assimilation. This new design also plays a vital role for the mission of the church, which is to enlist, encourage, and equip people in becoming dedicated followers of Jesus through Worship, Community, and Service.
The site is built using AM Design's custom CMS with a multi-site structure, giving each department the ability to update information, while still allowing the communications team to manage quality control. The stie utilizes numerous module designs for the Plan A Visit, Sermons, Events, Missions, and Members pages. These modules help to easily manage the information on the backend, while giving a unique user-experience on the front-end.
I directed and designed the site with a modern, minimal design in order to elevate the unique message of the church and to give a fresh update to their overall brand image. I paid special attention to type, iconography and custom photography and unified the entire design with a simple, modern color palette.
My roles were art direction, concept, and lead user interface design. A huge thanks to the communications team at The Hills Church and to the entire team at AM Design for an amazing build!
