Student: Madison Warne, grade 11
Intermediate photography student
Project direction: Photographic series where students use a 100mm Macro Lens, extension tubes and macro reverse rings to shoot a subject of their choosing. The purpose of the project is to look for a macro subject that could be manipulated by the photographer in some way, either during the shoot, in post, or both. Madison used a spritzer bottle to create the 'dew' that she wanted to show in her photos. Students working on this project need to have a solid understanding of exposure and technical operation of equipment prior to shooting. All of the work is edited in Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC.
