Working with our in-house marketing team, I lead the design of marketing communications, physical artifacts, wayfinding and experience design for the annual customer conference hosted by Spredfast in Austin, TX. The conference brings customers and prospects together to share best practices and success stories, hear from industry leaders and celebrate innovation in social media marketing. 

Our goal was to create an event that was participatory and lively and create a distinct brand that promoted the theme "Marketing at the Speed of Life." The brand needed to ladder up to the parent Spredfast brand. The flow and convergence of ideas, inspiration and people into Austin for a 3 day event was represented through a flow of icons that complemented the Spredfast hexagon. Using a series of shapes and arrows that served as both brand identification and wayfinding (graphic arrows lead guests through the space--on walls, signage, window clings, etc.)

The design execution included over 40 indidual projects over 8 months. 


The Spredfast Summit logo, which was applied across print, video, digital and other interactive pieces.
The microsite was primary designed to drive registrations. It give a quick introduction to the theme, provides an in-line teaser video experience and an interactive visualization of the social content around the event (powered by Spredfast technology). Other pages include Speaker, Agenda and Travel information which were designed to look and feel similar to the main Spredfast.com site. We were able to borrow much of the code base which allowed us to meet tight time constraints.
