La silla Báaxal (juguete en Maya) fue diseñada por MoMé, está inspirada en la manera que se utilizaban los colores en forma lineal en los juguetes mexicanos típicos.
Realizada en madera de tzalam con Valchromat y grabada en router CNC, el diseño rinde tributo a las profundas influencias del arte folklórico y recrea las imágenes más representativas de la cultura Wixárika, para este pueblo el colibrí representa en mensajero solar, simboliza el espíritu alegre y el ánimo festivo, la flor sagrada (toto) y el cuenco doble símbolo de lluvia y agua son elementos imprescindibles en su artesanía.

The Báaxal chair (mayan word for “toy”) was designed by MoMé. It is inspired by the way traditional mexican toys were painted with straight lines of color. Built with tzalam wood with Valchromat and engraved using a CNC router, its design pays tribute to the deep influences of folkloric art and recreates the most representative imagery of the Wixárica culture. For them, the hummingbird represents the messenger of the sun, symbolizes the joyful spirit and the festive mood. The sacred flower (toto) and the double concave shape symbolizing rain and water, are essential elements in their craft design.
