Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar 10th Anniversary

Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar have been providing undergraduate degrees in a number  of programmes from biological sciences to information technology for 10 years. In order to commemorate this momentous milestone in their journey they invited Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and 800 guests to join them
for  an evening celebration.

Challenge

CMU-Q needed an agency that were able to provide a full turn key solution as well as having previous experience in dealing with the protocol and security requirements that come with the attendance
of Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.

WRG were therefore the perfect fit for this occasion.

Response

We employed a dedicated, multi-discipline, client-facing team to ensure that all elements of this complex event were catered for. We created a full guest experience by devising a brand identity that sat alongside the existing CMU-Q 10th Anniversary logo.

This was then rolled out over all elements of the event from the online registration to the stage set.

Highlights

Designing and installing three 8m x 3m screens  and an 800-person seating block in a challenging space within the CMU-Q campus building.
Creating 5 separate films in-house in a four  week period that allowed us to tell the history  and achievements of CMU-Q through narration, imagery and graphics.
Full print and signage roll out of event branding.
Providing a full logistics team who dealt with  the online registration, invitation delivery, protocol and catering.
