San saru 三猿. Tres monos sabios.3 wise monkeys

These photographs are a tribute to the legend of the three wise monkeys.

The Three Wise Monkeys or Mystics, who are covered respectively with hands eyes, ears and mouth, from ancient Chinese legends that spread in Japan with the arrival of writing in the eighth century.
The names of the monkeys are Kikazaru (not heard), Iwazaru (unspecified) and Mizaru (not shown), which refer to a set of Japanese words as saru means monkey.
Legend has it that the three monkeys were the messengers sent by the gods to reveal the misdeeds of humans with a magic spell, in which each had two virtues and defects, and are represented in the following order:

Kikazaru: represented as deaf monkey, was in charge of using the sense of sight to see anyone performing evil deeds to pass it to Mizaru by voice.

Mizaru: was the blind monkey. He did not need his sense of sight, since it is responsible for carrying the messages that had Kikazaru until the third monkey, Iwazaru.

Iwazaru: the third of the three monkeys was dumb monkey Iwazaru, listening to the messages conveyed by Mizaru deciding punishment of the gods would fall to the unfortunate and see that fulfilled.

One interpretation is that to reach the wisdom a person must:
 Refusing to listen evils
 Refusing to see evil
 Refusing to mean evil
