Lisa Charlton is a IT eCommerce Developer/Project Manager and a volunteer for Cancer Research UK

I am a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for quality and excellence and enjoy bringing out the best in every project I work with. I create a footprint with unique embellishments to all of my ecommerce and Product Development skills and experiences which in turn has become a foothold within my work ethic.

I create many different Product concepts and design many elements to create a continuous routine and risk procedures to bring a challenging role in to its own. I research other competitors and add exceptional and additional packages to stay ahead of the competition. I work alongside stakeholders and sponsors to ensure the project will met by target date. And I take pleasure in making sure the company reaches it goals and remain at the top of their game in everything they do.

I mainly have set up many ecommerce storefronts and designed many different products for the Third Sectors and have been dedicated to the charities for over ten 10 years and have helped to raise millions of pounds for lifesaving research in to cancer within the time I have either been a volunteer or a paid member of staff. I also created client relationships for Cancer Research UK with working alongside easyfundraising.org.uk Ian Woodruff who is the founder of the website which opened in 2005.

I created a company profile for Cancer Research UK which in turn now have over 2,7000 retailers now raising funds for the cancer charity. So far our fundraising total is just under the £8,000 mark and is still rapidly growing. With many thank yous' going out to the charity's loyal customers and supporters. easyfundraising.co.uk did not stop there, they opened a door for businesses to have the opportunity to buy their stock online through various retailers selling office furniture, products and stock replenishment for busy working office environments.

With this in mind the portal now has over 5 million customers raising funds for Cancer Research UK and various other charities. Making the website one of the biggest online fundraising site within the UK Lisa has created over 1000 saleable products for Cancer Research UK since September 2007 this was the time when Lisa discovered her own Cancer was not going away pretty much soon and decided that while she could still create and design certain products.

Lisa set up and ecommerce store of which in 2012 she had donated all of the store and all of its content including her product designs, graphic images and templates to the charity making the store Cancer Research UK own property and copyright. Lisa had been diagnosed with Progressive Cancer and found that all cancer's are malignant and cannot be operated on. Lisa never gives up the fight and vows to continue the advocacy for all patients living with cancer and has campaigned for many different causes of cancer and sent many petitions via Cancer Research UK to the Governments of which has all made changes within the UK Law.

Since 2002 Lisa had volunteered her time in one of many Cancer Research UK shops based in the centre of Nottingham and have helped to raise over £10m up until 2008 when Lisa fell ill again with cancer. Lisa has won another battle and comes back fighting harder than ever and with sheer determination will carry on campaigning and continue to make changes to UK Laws and raise more awareness about cancer.

Website Design
I created the website and ecommerce storefront in memory of my late granddad Michael Lamb who passed away in May 2013 after being diagnosed with having Brain and Liver Cancer.
I created a concept with the product being designed to be accessible to all fundraisers, supporters and customers of Cancer Research UK to help to raise funds and awareness of the disease.
I later discussed the concept further with Managers, Relief and Area managers from Cancer Research UK with my project planner and discussed at length about what embellishments I could add to help to make a difference to livesaving cancer research.
After the meeting the project was then later discussed further with all managers and the CEO Dr Harpal Kumar about going ahead with the project I got accepted and started to put in place all of my concepts - the end result is that we have now over 2000 + supporters and a further 256 new businesses giving their support to our project and we have raised just under £10,000 for the charity via the easyfundraising.org.uk portal .

Ecommerce Developer
The ecommerce development/Product Design was a project I have taken on fundraising in memory for my cousin Ruth Lamb who passed away with Breast Cancer in 2007. The site is now CR-UK's as I have gifted it to the charity in 2013. My role for Cancer Research UK was to design a new product concept such as designing bags, pin badges and Keyrings plus many more product templates.
I started doing this by selecting a design template using the Serif plus and Adobe software to create graphic images and photography to be placed into the template of the product. I then add themes and fonts to the products and the ecommerce website design, then adding layout and contents to the product concepts.
After I have finished preparing the layout, themes and templates I start uploading the graphic images and photograhy and apply them to the ecommerce and product templates. I then start to create customer and client relationships by creating flyers, posters, email and advertisement campaigns and using social media such as facebook, twitter, rss, google+ and pinterest. I then added the shopping carts and linked the products to the customer accounts and the payment system

● Created over 1000 various products such as bags, shoes and jewellery
● Intermediate skills using Serif plus packages and Adobe photoshop to design products and graphic images
● Created Advertising banners, posters and flyer's to raise awareness for Cancer Research UK
● Planned and created projects to design various event posters for customers to use at their own events
● Created a online campaign for customers to become a advocate for Cancer Research UK  to start making changes within the government laws
● Safeguarding customer personal information using a encrypted online secure network filing cabinet and a manual secure filing system as back up files to online applications.
