Lucy and Fred are characters designed for our university major project. The characters were re-drawn according to the medium that we were in charge of (3D animation and hand crafting/vectoring).

 

Lucy, left, is a quiet and observant girl. She is carefully measures each action she takes and is much more down to earth than Fred. To reflect this in her image, we gave her glasses and a simple, clean outfit. The colours blue were used to associate her with a peaceful and cam personality.

 

Fred, right, is much more enthusiastic than Lucy. He is the kind of person who acts before he thinks is always up for adventure and his loud actions reflect his personality. Yellow colours were chosen to represent his loud nature, and his outfit was designed to look a bit more rough to reflect his out-going side.
