Silicon Cityscapes
Silicon Cityscapes - Editorial / Conceptual Project

Inspired by some incredible tilt-shift time lapse videos and photographs of cities such New York, I went in search of some old trashed Apple Macs destined for eWaste. Circuit boards from two old iMacs and and an old MacBook became micro cities in this series of conceptual photographs for an upcoming project for a tech company.

The rich green and blue logic boards, micro processors and Firewire ports became perfect miniature skyscrapers, office buildings and city blocks on a tiny scale. Some even look decidedly suburban.

All of the photographs were lit with natural light and shot using wide angle lenses with a close up ring.
