Este libro presenta una selección de los cuadernos de viaje de Luis Ruiz Padrón, arquitecto malagueño perteneciente al colectivo internacional Urban Sketchers.

If there is something that truly defines the city of Malaga it would be its vitality, it is the life that breathes from the tourists shuffling around the portside, the people who crowd the stands at the central market, the bustling restaurant terraces and the mismatched facades of the city’s buildings. This book showcases a selection of entries from the sketchbooks of Luis Ruiz Padrón, an architect from Malaga who is part of the Urban Sketchers international collective.

Su trabajo capta fielmente la ciudad mediante apuntes del natural. En ellos descubrimos no solamente lugares sino también instantes; en definitiva, una crónica dibujada de una Málaga viva, en muchas ocasiones de rara belleza y en otras, rematadamente imperfecta.

His work accurately captures the city through on-site sketches of daily life. In them we see not only places but meaningful moments. It is a chronicle of drawings that show a Malaga that is alive with many moments of rare beauty, and others that are hopelessly imperfect.
