One of my most forward-facing tasks at Digital First Media was to create all of the various graphical assets for our mobile apps. This included, but was not limited to, icons, splash screens, and mastheads that catered to the myriad of specs needed for iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, as well as the mobile web.
I created graphics for the following news properties' apps:

With every new phone and tablet came new specs and extra graphics. By the end, I was creating 72 distinct graphics for each of roughly 90 news properties and created utilities to expedite the creation of icons and other static elements with slightly-varying dimensions.
