Second Screen: Live-Voting | Memory

My master thesis dealt with second screen in German-speaking countries and the development of a workflow for real-time integration of public actions in a TV graphics system. Furthermore, sample applications were developed in which the previously explored workflow is applied practically.

These sample applications consist of a Live-Voting system and a Memory game for two players. The products of the company Vizrt are used as TV graphics system. Due to reasons of platform independence a web application is used. The sample applications were tested in the course of a user test in a broadcast environment.
Live-Voting
The web app is optimized for mobile Safari on iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.
After voting users have to wait a specific amount of time before they can vote again.

Viz scene displays the person's percentage share of the total votes.
The percentages were implemented using Shared Memory and presented via Bar Chart Plugin.

Memory
With the web application the game can be controlled, while the playing field (with the Memory playing cards) is shown on the TV screen.

The web app is optimized for mobile Safari on iPhone 5 and iPad Mini.
