Commissioned by Immobel, one of Belgium's major project developers, the Black Pearl is designed to provide some 11,000 sqm of State of The Art office space, at the heart of the European district in Brussels.
In order to obtain the higher BREEAM 'Excellent' certification, Art & Build Architects integrated technical solutions including geothermal heat exchangers for heating and cooling, rain water recovery for sanitary use and landscape irrigation, intelligent artificial lighting control, and other feats.
Gabari was selected to make images & a corporate film illustrating the architectural features of the project as well as highlighting the outstanding standards of the Black Pearl.
