Part of my course work, we were told to design and create a 3d model a key chain. I came up with a design that looks kinda abstract. The idea for my key chain is that it could be used as a RFID tag or GPS tracker for those who are prone to losing their keys. Also, this could be a replacement for hotels or condos who uses key cards. The size of the cards are often a bit big in my opinion. Also, they are prone to break if you sit on it by accident. This key chain will hopefully be much more simple to carry around and use. 

Used SolidWorks to do the models. I designed each piece individually and assembled them together
