Outside of the Great Hall at The Unviversity of Newcastle. This design is inspired in the human body and the celebration of graduation. The obelisk represents the graduate, the main figure while the steps surrounding it represents his/her achievements. The spectators are represented by the columns standing up and holding the roof as a sign of respect and admiration for the graduate.
