The Oklahoma College Assistance Program (OCAP) developed OK-CAN (Oklahoma College Access Network) to help high school counselors, college recruiters and community organizations share and develop strategies to educate Oklahoma residents about higher education opportunities. At the on-set, a simple and free program was developed to share basic information and encourage professional memberships. As the network grows and needs are recognized, the program and the site will need to expand. I developed the site with a basic infrastructure that could easily be expanded based on the fluid nature of the members and their needs. At the time of my departure from the program's parent agency, I was working on a password protected members-only area where documents and ideas could be uploaded and shared with program members.
As with the other sites I created at OCAP, I designed, coded and developed this site independently - from the structure, navigation and accessibility to the graphic design, HTML and CSS.
