Patchwork Poetry is a tribute of mixing traditional techniques with a fresh interpretation.
It is a celebration of the typical houndstooth patterns, classy masculine pinstripes, timeless
dobby geometrics and playful checks. Pure linen and wool materials are combined with
nylon and futuristic shiny raffia. The philosophy is underlined with a sophisticated natural
color language and super bold color highlights.

Moodboard
Taking inspiration from the age old but classical dobby techniques. The designs developed were simple, geometric and traditional, which have been translated for a contemporary home decor.
A set various simple patterns/motifs were worked out taking inspiration from traditional dobby geometrics.
Dobby motives and pattern look like pixels, thus taking inspiration from that an attempt was made to redefine and create checks & stripes, along with a traditional diamond dobby pattern.

Houndstooth has stood the test of time. Considered a classic, houndstooth has been a fashion trend several
times in history, with peaks during the 1930s, the 1970s and then again in the first decade of 2000.

Stripes and checks are impressions of precision which creates an order of sorts, by simple horizontal and
vertical bands. They help in breaking up the monotony and organic nature of textures.
