A history of 20th century urban planning, this book was designed to tell the story of the most important planners and city architects of the last 100 years. In conjunction with written research, contemporary photography, infographics and illustration, the book gives a broad context for the problems modern cities face while offering solutions for the future. Important considerations within the field including urban renewal, gentrification, public spaces and socioeconomics are also covered, giving the book a well rounded perspective.
