Days of Being Wild
SAINT SEIYA EDITION
This photoshoot is an homage to the Wong Kar Wai film "Days of Being Wild". In my personal projects, I like to do mashups between anime and my favorite director's films. I created a mini photo studio with cardboard box and couple iPads, then I gathered my Saint Seiya toy figures and positioned them similar to the "Days of Being Wild" film poster. I shot and shot over again to get the perfect lighting. The lighting was created by displaying an image of solid color on two iPads' screens and holding the iPads in various angles during 8-second long exposure.

I ended up also liking the cyan/magenta lighting effect so I created an alternate film poster with a different shot.
