The day after I was in the Giardini to visit the first part of the architecture Biennale in Venice, I went to the Arsenale of Venice to visit the next one.

The Arsenal was responsible for the bulk of Venice's naval power during the middle part of the second millennium AD.
It was one of the earliest large-scale industrial enterprises in history.
The first part of the Arsenal was an exhibition called Monditalia. That is a way to join architecture to other arts as Dance, Music, Theatre, cinema.
In the Biennale site, we can read about Monditalia:

«In a moment of crucial political change, we decided to look at Italy as a fundamentalcountry, completely unique but also emblematic of a global situation where many countries are balancing between chaos and a realization of their full potential».
Other spaces in Arsenal were filled by National expositions like in the Giardini.
