This poster was designed for a competition for the screening of the film, Died Young Stayed Pretty, a documentary on Rock Posters. I chose to digitally draw a young woman wearing a funeral hat and death mask— reflecting the typical image of a sexpot rock poster in a more mysterious manner, like the inquisitive nature of the film title. The image still draws an audience in, but there is ambiguity. The segmentation of the design reflects the fragments of film and time, showing motion, breaking message.
