Apicius is an iPad application which has a fixed object in the kitchen that improves the experiential aspect of cooking and augments the creation and sharing of food content in the domestic context.
The application suggests and curates recipes based on your preferences, the communities you follow, and what your friends are cooking. The fixed object in the kitchen determines the time you spend in the kitchen and suggests contextual recipes. Apicius allows you to plan, share and add notes to your favorite recipes and it also enables the user to connect with people either the authors of recipes or friends through video calling
