Zelo is an upscale restaurant in Minneapolis, Minnesota that caters to the young professional. Using this business as a model, we approached the process of creating a new branding strategy and website from scratch for a project in university. We first looked at their current site, zelomn.com, to determine their target audience and visual goals before disecting everything down to its roots and, essentially, re-designed everything. Keeping the integrity of the current brand but aiming more towards their target audience was paramount. Focusing on web, this particular project went over every stage of designing from personas and competition audits, to wireframing, to designing, to prototypingi and user testing. In the end, I created a booklet intended for use by Zelo so that they might, in the future, continue on designing with the new 'rules' I created.
