A composition I did for my demoreel, to create an alien creature in its environment.
The base model was done with Autodesk Maya, the sculpting with Mudbox, the texturing with Photoshop and ZBrush, the seams fixing with Bodypaint.
Lighting and rendering in Softimage|XSI and compositing in Photoshop.
The image was accepted in Elemental 3 book from Ballistic Publishing,
