I used Cory Barker’s “Cool Perforated Pattern” technique for this design. I created a 2” x 2” pattern developed from rectangles with opposite side rounded corners configured to look floral. In my master document (the steps get fuzzy because of all my experimenting) I styled my pattern, added a red linear-gradient background layer, and added an ellipse with text. I found experimenting with blend modes very fascinating.
