Breeding Design
2007, AA Visiting School to Singapore
Understood as a way to offer multiple solutions and largetaxonomies of possibilities, breeding supposes an existing condition; anexisting organisation able to adapt to changing contexts. The Breeding Design workshopconsidered how everyday objects react with their environment and how theirperformances and behaviours can be assimilated into architectural design. In as much the same way as species reproduce to create a newgeneration, forms were explored through a series of controlled combinations and permutations.
