CaSa enables crowdsourced topographic mapping of areas using smartphones equipped with barometric sensors. The target is refugee/displaced persons camps where elevation information would highlight flood-vulnerable zones within the camp, but where existing data is extremely sparse, and gathering new data via traditional means is inordinately expensive. With our solution, humanitarian workers are able to use this app on existing equipment and integrate it into existing routines to eventually generate topographic data accurate to ± 1.5 meters. We're working on cleaning up code and refining the app, and hopefully expect to deploy to actual UN sites within a couple of months. Read Less
