Design Principles was designed to creatively teach students about materials, their capabilities, and how one can transform and discover new possibilities in creating new substance or form. My response and focus in finding material was to use a prefabricated, modular material that would be able to take on various experiments and probes. By manipulation and more understanding of material, the studio was able to explore the fundamentals of form-making, shape, and how these characteristics can hold spatial qualities.
