Designer Product Line Pattern Illustrations

This product line features three patterns that represent myself as a designer. The patterns could be licensed out to different companies to be used on their products. As the client and designer, I had to take into consideration what type of pattern and color palette reflects myself and my personal style. The patterns are cohesive and recognizable.

These patterns incorporate things that I like using some of my favorite colors. All three patterns are illustrative. The first pattern represents my favorite city, New York. It’s a compilation of all the things I loved about New York when I first visited. The illustrative pattern elements are close together, creating a visual energy to reflect the energy of the city itself.

The second pattern is inspired by a dress I once saw that I loved, but couldn’t afford. The simple arrows pointing in all different directions create a kid of organized chaos that I use in my design work.

The last pattern is inspired by my two dogs, Tanner and Tucker, who are both papillons. The bows reflect their sweet demeanor. Bows are also a fashion staple in my closet.

Although each pattern is uniquely different, they are all cohesive. Each of them is illustrative and uses different angles and the same color palette. Each of the colors themselves are names: powder (light blue), nectarine (orange), mellow (yellow), olive (green), and night sky (navy.)
