Cabaret Sister, Pattaya Transvestite

My photo mediate on everyday life itselfthrough experience of daily life.

During my 14 months workto with project  “Maybe This Time , a Story of PattayaGirlfriend” I have met other extraordinary life of “Sumo” a male transvestitecabaret performer in Pattaya who live next door to Ore a female go go dancer,Ore often left Fanta, her daughter with Sumo during her time out with customer,Sumo also appear to have double life, one as amusing entertainer other as ananny of Fanta , a role that fulfill her impossible motherhood dream. To me, Sumo is example of what we experience inlife. It is there to foster a interrogation on different aspects of our lifethrough life itself: the absurdity of being, the loss of humanity in scientificthinking, cultural identity crisis, man state of being in consuming situation, the deceitfulness of culture, derangement of roles, and the alienization ofunity or diversity.
