Experienced Level Designer
My two key roles for Grid Autosport were as a track design lead
and replay camera team lead. As a track design lead, I worked
closely with my talented colleague Ian Walker to create an art
ready whitebox of a city based racetrack from initial design and
research right through to delivery.

As replay camera group lead I was responsible for a team of four
level designers including myself, our aim being to meet the
camera style required for Grid Autosport. This involved working
closely with both the art direction team and programming teams.
This allowed us to successfully meet the camera style envisioned,
while also ensuring that we had the correct tools to do so.
I was personally responsible for crafting the prototype styles for
each of the three event disciplines, as well as creating the replays
for five locations. My other responsibilities as group lead included
coaching other team members, assigning tasks, reviewing
completed work and document creation.

Aside from this I was heavily involved in organising playtest
sessions within the studio to evaluate and feedback on the car
handling and track characteristics. This feedback was then
accrued, issues identified, and then assigned to relevant
departments for further polish.

Below are some examples of my work.
