Beer Pong table
We wanted to have a fully functional beer pong table for parties and slow evenings, and being able to transport the table house to house. To obtain the final result we had to go throught many steps that I describe in this project.
Step 1 : Technical details such as the support, the storage, the mobility, etc...
Step 2 : Creation of the main visual identity, a logo that describes our beer pong team.
Step 3 : Design of the table, with the exact dimensions needed, the design is cut in four distincts parts, in order to follow the cuts of the wood.
Final result of the design
Step 4 : Actually there is three distincs steps in this pitcure, we sanded down the fours parts of the wood, then we applied three pre-layers of white paint (glycerol) and finally we painted three layers of red.
These are the hinges wich allows us to fix the diffrents parts of the table therebetween.
Step 5 : First white paint layer, bands on the sides
Step 6 : Second white paint layer, the triangles.
Step 7 : The first white layer for the visual identity, we made it with A3 stencils and thick brushes.
Step 8 : The second black layer for the visual identity, same procedure.
Step 9 : Paint corrections, painting of the hinge that will be visible, the one in the middle.
We're done, the table is functional ! The project took us three weeks (we had to wait the paint to dry)
Designed to fit in a cart trunk
