I created this artwork in the year 2014 when the Russian troops invaded the territory of an independent country and occupied the Eastern part of Ukraine and the Crimean peninsula. This graphic narrative is supposed to represent the emotional state of the people, whose country has been torn into pieces over and over again. I created this image with the hope, that one day we will be able to create a peaceful future, where people will finally understand that – in no case should we divide a country.

Nevertheless, the Russian dictator gave an order to his military, on 24. February 2022 at 4 a.m., to shoot up my motherland with ballistic missiles, to occupy the cities and villages. The occupants mercilessly direct their missiles towards residential areas, student campuses, schools, and kindergartens.
