Emphasis Point 1

Eye: the eyes show emphasis because they contrast with the dark grey scale colors of my face. The darkness of my eyelashes and eye brows help the galaxy eyes to stand out and look unusual.

Texture/Color

Changing my eyes to contain galaxy adds fantasy to the art work because no one’s eyes look like that in real life. It means creativity and represents that my mind is somewhere far off away from earth. My eyes also they tell the audience that there is more going on inside my head then you can see, like my eyes act as a looking glass.

Emphasis Point 2

Lips: My lips show emphasis because they are unexpected. When you looks at a picture of someone you don’t expect to see flowers incorporated into their lips. The flowers show contrast with their bright colors against my soft pink lips.

Texture/ Color

The flowers are there to represent positivity, love, and passion. I picked flowers because even though simple, they are able to communicate so much. I specifically chose that my mouth be slightly open because if I had my mouth closed, it gives the impression that I am closed off or keeping to myself. By having the mouth open just ever so slightly, it represents my ability to only trust a few people in my life

Emphasis Point 3

Sky: Pink in the sky shows emphasis because I paired it with a cooler toned picture to contrast with. The picture with the sky has contrast in and of itself. But to bring out that pink, I matched it with a photo that only had cool colors           

Value/Color

The sky communicates highlights in your life. It represents all the positive things that happen among the negative events.
