We are are human, One minute movie campaign

The brief required us to produce a one minute movie according to a specific subject tat was given to each group. Be part of the solution, that was the concept we had to keep in mind when coming up with ideas and solutions. As a group we focused on one aspect of discrimination. The LGBT. Our movie was intended to play on the way people immediately assume things before they know the facts. We settled on the idea of an ordinary white male and an ordinary black female waking up, getting ready, going to work ad later meeting up with their partner. The twist came in when the two actually do not meet up with each other but rather their same sex partners. This shows the whole idea of, WE ARE ALL HUMAN. The viewer will be left shocked and will be forced to look at society in a different eye.

Individual Campaign
My individual solution was to stick to the discrimination of same sex couples. My campaign plays around the male and female symbols. They symbolize the same sex couples and the hearts around them show that these people are bound by love and nothing else. To differentiate clearly I used pink and blue for male and female. My main focus for the campaign was the Do Not Enter tape that I changed into pink and blue and plastered it with rude and un comfortable words and sayings that would be received by these couples on a daily basis. This makes the audience aware that what they say to the next person piles up into a heap until you can barely recognize what you are doing. This makes you as an audience think about what you do regularly until it becomes part of your and thus a daily norm.
