I was born and partly raised in Iceland. In one way or another, it will always be home, even though home may also be somewhere else.
To me the rugged, the rough, the brutal and the harsh is the landscape I know and this makes up the norm for me. Whereas trees, forests and fields are exotic and peculiar to me. I'm sure that may perhaps seem weird.
Nevertheless I find my old home to be stunningly beautiful and I never tire of photographing it. The images beneath were mostly shot during automotive shoots in Iceland, so there may be an inadvertent road-trip theme going here.
