The team’s strategy and concept was based on simply choices. We chose to focus on not to dictate to our audience which decision to make but to visually present the consequences of both positive and negative decision making, therefore given each individual an opportunity to make their own choices taking the future generation into consideration and the idea of being a role model and participating in the implementation of restoring core values in the communities. Given the basis of choices I developed further on the idea of positive and negative choices and unpacked it using the idea of a coin, which has two sides to it. My core conceptboils down to heads or tails, using the terms “this side or flip side referring to the positive and negative decision making. The heads would be thought of as the positive side visually communicating the idea of being role models, so I roughly designed a simple representation of coin depicting a graduation hat in the centre which I took from a scene in our trailer. The graduation hat as the focal point includes the term head and is contained by typography around it as it would appear on a coin.
