So, without much further ado, Mangetis is one of my most intricate and detailed projects to date, which was emphasised further by being placed on the perfect photograph. It took a lot of painstaking searching to find the correct fragments of mange tout and even longer to craft and piece together the arthropod jigsaw.

Up next is the Pcarrot with his proud and regal poise. I remember the reaction of people when I first presented and photographed this large carrot. It has the feel of a totem pole but without being even remotely symbolic or cultural.

Squeahorsh was a challenge...but who doesn't love a challenge? It was all the more rewarding for seeing the end product and how well it fits the background. Squash is, by its very name, quite a tricky material to work with so time and as little handling as possible were of the essence. Luckily, it looks amazing!
