Project Summary
Last Mile Platform (LMP) is a case management application for a US based mast mile logistics company. It is a common platform for collaboration between the shipper, last mile facilitating organization and the carriers, where the orders are created, tracked and the issues related to them are managed to ensure their timely resolution and quick delivery.
Process
- Discovery Phase : Stakeholder Interview and Understanding of the existing case management system in place.
- Persona creation based on the users identified by the stakeholder
- Feature Identification based on the finalized requirements
- Scenario Building and Creation of Task Flows
- Low Fidelity wire-frames which were discussed with the stakeholders for finalization
- Handling the designs for visuals and implementation along with coordination with the entire team for seamless integration

Design Highlights
- Work Center dashboard where CS team can create and manage new cases and orders at one place.
- Notifications /Alerts to the user in case of any update on the relevant cases.
- An information architecture which enables the users to access all the relevant cases/ orders from within different sections.
-Smooth navigation through a combination of left side Menu, top header menu as well as in-page breadcrumb links .
- Handling most of the primary actions through modal window to keep the user in context to his current page.

Final Screens
Workcenter Dashboard
The agents will be able to perform all the relevant actions on a case over here. They can view all the cases being assigned to them, their pending actions and create a new case. Most of their work is going to happen here.
Create a New Case
Case Details
The agent will be able to view the entire details like pertaining to a specific case along with the notes and emails attached to it. They will also be able to check the history of actions taken by various agents on a case in this section.
Dispatch Board
This was used by the office staff to manage the the mile deliveries, setting delivery priorities and updating any changes in the schedule. The cases pertaining to various deliveries can also be attached here.
